Autism assessments to help people know themselves better

We understand that you feel different, like an outsider. And you have carried this feeling  with you for a while. The fact that you are reading this tells us that you had enough and that you want things to change.

Imagine leaving behind the feeling that there is something wrong with you, having the confidence of knowing how to live your life in a way that allows you to handle whatever today brings.

About

At Mind Made Easy, I aim to create a safe space during the assessment, adapting the assessment to your cognitive processing and communication preferences. we use the MIGDAS Diagnostic Interview, a protocol that helps to gather information about what helps you function well in different situations, instead of trying to see how neurotypical you are.

I am passionate about neurodiversity and the premise that not all brains are the same, and not one size fits all. In my experience, the journey of an autism assessment goes beyond the label and a formal diagnosis, and it is often a process of self-discovery and an opportunity to grow and start valuing who you are and to start taking care of yourself by embracing your sensory, communication and learning preferences.

I also specialise in trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD, which are sadly very common in autistic and neurodivergent individuals. In my autism assessments, I am aware of this and use a trauma-informed approached.

Regardless of the outcome of an autism assessment, the process can help you know yourself better, and to start making choices that will improve your life and help you take the next steps to find your place in the world.
